A Conference in Memory of Mikio Furuta

This conference will look back on the work of Professor Mikio Furuta, who passed away on 28 June 2026, and explore the paths that lie ahead of it. We welcome young researchers, especially students.

The speakers will be Yukio Kametani (Keio University), Hajime Fujita (Japan Women's University), Hokuto Konno (University of Tokyo), Masaki Taniguchi (Kyoto University), and Shinichiroh Matsuo (Nagoya University). The programme will be announced later.

After the conference, a dinner in memory of Professor Furuta is planned at a restaurant on the same campus. Information on registration will follow.
